Before the 2021 season began, our forecast called for above-normal tropical activity with the potential for more than 20 named storms. AccuWeather's expert meteorologists updated us regarding the remainder of the season on August 25.

Raya Maday is a certified Lead Storm Warning Meteorologist for AccuWeather For Business (AFB) and is responsible for providing site-specific forecasts and custom warnings for thousands of businesses across the world. Outside of storm warning operations, Raya designs and delivers enterprise disaster exercises and weather training courses. Raya holds an Area Director position within Toastmasters, an international public speaking organization.
